The Soup Kitchen is staffed by volunteers from churches, clubs, businesses and schools who prepare and serve the meals. The Soup Kitchen has strong support from thousands of generous individuals, churches, organizations, and companies who are committed to taking care of those in need in our community. Over 15,000 volunteer hours were logged at the Soup Kitchen last year.

Our Story

The Soup Kitchen provides a large, healthy meal every day to our hungry neighbors. Today is an average early-month day. We have 100+ regulars who come every day, and most came in despite the light mist falling. A gentleman new in the dining room thanked me and said this is his first time eating at the Soup Kitchen. He also said that has been three days since his last meal. He promised he will be back tomorrow. The Soup Kitchen is staffed by volunteers from churches, clubs, businesses and schools who prepare and serve the meals. Most groups also provide the food for their serving day. The Soup Kitchen is able to help people because of strong support from thousands of generous individuals, churches, organizations, and companies who are committed to taking care of those in need in our community. Over 15,000 volunteer hours were logged at the Soup Kitchen last year. Please consider donating to the Soup Kitchen to keep this ministry healthy.
