Bennington Project Independence Bennington Project Independence provides adult day service options for individuals and families facing the challenges of aging and/or disability.

Bennington Project Independence (BPI) has been helping families keep loved ones at home and in the community for more than 46 years! Bennington Project Independence is a not-for-profit agency that provides cost-effective quality Adult Day Care and Day Health Rehabilitation Services for adults over age 18 facing physical challenges, including Alzheimer's Disease and frailties associated with aging and/or disability. Our mission is to encourage the vitality, health and well-being of older or disabled adults enabling them to continue residing at home, while supporting and providing respite to their families and caregivers. Meals and snacks are planned in accordance with USDA guidelines. This institution is an equal opportunity provider.

Let’s give ‘em pumpkin to talk about!

On Wednesday, October 28th our members will be carving and painting their way through the day as we celebrate the season with a Pumpkin Painting and Carving Party!

Would you like to contribute to the fun of the day … to the enjoyment of our members and donate some pumpkins? Any size, big or small, we appreciate your generous donation.

All donations can be dropped off at BPI (614 Harwood Hill, Bennington, VT) prior to Wednesday, October 28th between the hours of 7am and 5:30pm.

On Saturday, September 19th, Bennington Project Independence and fifty-one other local community organizations were recognized for the work they do to enrich the lives of our Bennington community members during the Tree of Gratitude Celebration.

All of us at BPI would like to thank everyone who nominated us and made this wonderful event such a success.

This year Bennington Project Independence was picked as the beneficiary of the Coggins Classic. It is a true honor to be selected. And what a collaboration it turned out to be! It was an amazing day full of golf (of course) fun and laughter.

All of us here at Bennington Project Indepedence would like to thank Coggins, the golfers, sponsors, donors, volunteers, the BPI Golf Committee and the Board of Directors for their dedication to our members and for supporting our amazing program. All of you help to make our program the success that it is.
