⚽ The world cup is over! ¡Viva España! ⚽

We had so much fun coming up with soccer themed activities for June and July. We hosted four Saturday art workshops for kids and distributed over 1,000 coloring and activity sheets (and 4,000 crayons!) to seventeen venues around Bellingham. Thank you to everyone who came and celebrated with us, and thank you to the City of Bellingham, Washington - Government tourism grant that allowed us to do so many fun things.

These coloring sheets were hung around the bar at Goods Local Brews. We're glad to know that these were enjoyed by children of all ages! 😉

If you enjoyed these, let us know! We hope to make new designs soon.

Are you curious about how our most recent show came together? Join us this Saturday in the gallery to hear from guest curator Suzanne Morlock. She'll talk about the challenges of organizing so many artists together, how artistic restrictions can fuel (or challenge) creativity, and how art can be used to make other societal concerns like conservation and environmental education more fun! This event is free to the public, we hope to see you there.

Over the years, Allied Arts has received artwork through donations, exhibitions, and community relationships. This collection represents a wide range of artists, styles, and stories that have passed through our organization. To make room for future programming and creative community initiatives, we are offering selected works from the Allied Arts collection for purchase.

Every purchase directly supports Allied Arts and helps us continue connecting artists, audiences, and creative opportunities throughout Whatcom County.

Thank you to everyone who comes to see the show and gives one of these pieces a new home! This show will be up through June 27th, then we’ll pivot back into fresh programming with Collectively Assembled: Salish Sea.

If you didn’t get one of these kits but you think kids at your venue would love them, reach out and we’ll do our best to get you set up!

The 2026-2027 Arts and Culture guide is hot of the press! We’ll be distributing them around town over the next several weeks, but if you'd like one (or many!) in the meantime, feel free to stop by the gallery.

Many thanks to all of the organizations that participated, thank you to all the volunteers who helped fold them, and thanks to Lithtex for doing a stellar job printing it!
