Drop your children off at the Whatcom Family Y for an evening packed with zoomies in the ninja gym, soccer themed crafts, pizza, and plenty of fun while you enjoy a few kid-free hours. Whether it’s date night, dinner with friends, a movie that isn’t animated, or simply some well-deserved quiet time, Parents’ Night Out is the perfect opportunity to recharge.

The Whatcom Family Y is thrilled to bring the official NFL FLAG Football program to our community this fall!

🔥Youth FLAG Football Skills Clinic
Get ready for the season with our two-week skills clinic, September 1–10. Players will learn passing, receiving, route running, flag pulling, teamwork, sportsmanship, and more through fun, age-appropriate instruction designed to build confidence and skills before league play begins.

🏈 YMCA NFL FLAG Football League
Starting September 14, youth in Kindergarten through 8th grade can take the field in our inaugural NFL FLAG League. Players will receive an official NFL FLAG jersey and compete in 5v5 games while developing skills, making friends, and experiencing the excitement of being part of a team.

We’re incredibly excited to bring this nationally recognized program to Whatcom County and create new opportunities for kids to stay active and get outside.

📍 All practices and games take place at Downer Fields

The Whatcom Family Y Adult Basketball League is back for the summer, and it’s time to assemble the squad. Whether you’re chasing a championship or just looking for a competitive run each week, this league is for you.

🔥 8-game season
🏀 Full-court 5v5 play
⏱️ Officials & scorekeeping
🏆 Top 4 teams advance to the championship tournament on August 19

Winners get a league champion long sleeve t-shirt
