A glimpse from our August Sadhana Learning series workshops with Shweta Prachande!
The workshop wrapped up with an interactive session by Shweta and our participants showcasing what they learned over the sessions. Thank you Shweta for a wonderful 4 days of teaching and for sharing your knowledge with us.
We look forward to continuing the series with her Conditioning & Adavu Intensive and the Advanced Abhinaya (Ashtapadi) workshops in September, and to her performance as part of Dvayam on October 4th! Workshop signups and Dvayam ticket links are in our bio.

Sharing a few moments from “Abhinaya Unscripted” from Natya Utsav 2026! It was wonderful to watch each dancer interpret and respond to the improvisation prompts in their own way. Each improvisation unfolded differently, shaped by the dancer’s individual expressions, choices, and dialogues.

It was a joy to see how each dancer found something different and made the movement distinctly their own. Thank you to Vilashree Arts for moderating the session so seamlessly!

Sharing more moments from Natya Utsav 2026.

It was a celebration of dance, live music, collaboration, and the connections that grow when artists come together.

16 dancers and 12 musicians came together to explore the Panchabhootha and share their interpretations of the five elements.

Sharing highlights from Natya Utsav 2026 - Confluence of Dances of India featured performances by 5 local dance schools, each bringing a distinct classical Indian dance form to life.

It was truly a joy to witness the incredible talent being nurtured right here in the Seattle community. A beautiful celebration of India’s rich dance traditions and the passionate young artists keeping them alive!

An opportunity for dancers to deepen their practice through focused work in technique, Nritta, Abhinaya and conditioning. The August series will culminate in a studio presentation by participants, open to the public.
