We want to lift up and celebrate the life and legacy of Major Harris, Jr., a longtime champion for young people and mentoring.

Major dedicated so much of himself to creating connection, guidance, and opportunity for young people, including many years leading mentoring efforts within juvenile rehabilitation.

We are sending our love and deepest condolences to the entire Rocksolid Teen Center community, his family, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing, working alongside, and being impacted by Major.

His commitment to young people and community will not be forgotten. đź’™

It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of Major Harris Jr., a valued member of the Rocksolid Community Teen Center Board of Directors.

Major began serving on Rocksolid’s Board of Directors in 2022 and generously gave countless hours of his time volunteering and supporting the work of our organization. His commitment to Rocksolid and his willingness to serve helped strengthen our organization and further our mission of supporting young people in our community.

We are incredibly grateful for the time, energy, and heart Major gave to Rocksolid. His service and dedication will not be forgotten.

Our thoughts are with Major’s family, friends, and all those whose lives he touched during this difficult time.

Thank you, Major, for believing in Rocksolid and for the difference you made. You will be deeply missed. ❤️
