Looking for a meaningful way to give back with your NAWIC sisters this summer?

Join NAWIC Puget Sound on June 25th as we partner with Plymouth Housing to prepare and serve lunch for residents at their Eastgate location.

For more than 45 years, Plymouth Housing has been helping adults experiencing chronic homelessness by providing permanent supportive housing, on-site services, and a stable community where residents can heal and thrive. Their Housing First model connects residents with resources like healthcare, counseling, case management, and long-term support services, because everyone deserves a safe place to call home.

After lunch service, we’ll stick around for a few rounds of BINGO and community connection. Small acts of service make a big impact, and we’d love to have you there!

We’re excited to officially bring a NAWIC Puget Sound mixer to Bellingham! 🎉

Our chapter stretches from Seattle all the way to Bham, and we’re committed to making sure our North End sisters feel seen, heard, connected, and fully part of this amazing community. 💕

Join us May 26th at Pure Bliss Desserts for an evening of networking, community, beer/wine, and an ENTIRE menu of dessert. And trust us… Pure Bliss absolutely lives up to its name. 🍰✨

This event is free for members during our “May is for Members” celebration, but non-members are absolutely welcome too! NAWIC Puget Sound members stepped up and leaned in at the 3rd Annual & Friends Spring Campus Cleanup on May 12th, and what a day it was!

Huge shoutout to two incredible NAWIC members who weren’t able to be onsite during the event but still made a massive impact behind the scenes.

Dawn Hong organized her team at Peak Landscape, Inc. to professionally cut in a new pathway that now safely leads kiddos from the sidewalk onto campus. Eliminating the need for them to walk through the active traffic exit driveway!?! ⚠️🚧

When last-minute supplies popped up to make the project happen, our own OG NAWIC baddie, and team member Angela White, literally answered the call and donated $1,500 on the spot to help get it done. THAT is community in action!

Meanwhile, volunteers tackled projects all across campus:

❤️Vans used to transport children for camps and programs were cleaned and detailed.

🖤Weeds and invasive plants were removed. Wood chips were spread.

🤍A fence was repaired and restored.

❤️Donations were sorted for the Ryther ReStyle store (shop in Ballard-- 💯% of the proceeds support Ryther programs)

🖤 James King Roofing waterproofed a garage and cleaned several roofs on campus.

🤍 Sound Painting Solutions, LLC refreshed the play shed area with a fresh coat of paint and restored some much-needed vibrancy to the space

Most importantly, we got to spend the day supporting Ryther; an organization that shows up every single day for children and families in our community through behavioral health services, therapeutic programs, education, and family support. Their work changes lives.

The construction industry continues to face heartbreaking statistics surrounding su***de, addiction, and mental health struggles. Spending a day supporting a champion of this cause during Mental Health Awareness Month feels like one small way we can move the mark in the right direction.

Proud of this community. Proud of these women. Proud of every volunteer who showed up ready to work, sweat, laugh, and give back. ❤️🖤❤️
