Sting Solutions is tackling one of the leading causes of modern combat casualties: drones. Their innovative technology gives the ability to see the sound waves emitted by drone propellers, enabling earlier detection and enhanced protection. Inspired by America's WWII industrial base, the company is designing its solution to be manufactured at scale using standard smartphone components and assembly lines, making advanced protection more accessible to those who need it most.

🚀✈️ October 1st 2026 - Seattle European-American Air Forum happened.

History met , and Collaboration Took Flight!

October 1st is truly a remarkable day in aerospace history:
- the formation of the United States Army Balloon Corps (1861)
- the birthday of Boeing founder William Boeing (1881)
- the anniversary of NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration's first day of operations (1958)
- the day first broke the sound barrier (1969)

This year, it is the day when over 200 aerospace and space leaders gathered at to discuss the future of Transatlantic innovation. Organized by the French-American Chamber of Commerce of the Pacific Northwest, the event also celebrated the 40th anniversary and was held for the first time as part of Seattle Space Week, in partnership with Space Northwest.

We embraced the pioneering mindset with:
- our 1st SEAAF Startup Competition,
- our 1st integration with Seattle Space Week,
- our 1st partnership with Space Happy Hour,
bridging aerospace and space communities.

By the numbers, 2 takeaways:
📍 Boeing is the #1 export customer for aerospace suppliers, with more than 100 French companies supporting Boeing programs and approximately $1.1 billion invested annually in partnerships.
