Blessed Bag is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit supporting cancer patients through their chemotherapy journey by providing thoughtfully filled tote bags.

Our mission is to deliver comfort, hope, and heartfelt encouragement to every cancer warrior we serve. At Blessed Bag our mission is to bring hope and show God’s love to those going through the most difficult situations. We accomplish this by giving individuals a Blessed Bag, a beautiful, high quality bag filled with items to make their journey more comfortable. "And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. A heartfelt thank you to this sweet angel, Ali Nobili, for hosting a lemonade stand fundraiser for Blessed Bag! Through her kindness and hard work, she raised an incredible $400 to support our cancer warriors.

Today we want to give a HUGE shoutout to Ali Nobili for showing what a big heart looks like at such a young age 💛🍋

She set up her very own lemonade stand to raise money for Blessed Bag and help support cancer patients in need. Her kindness, compassion, and willingness to give back to others is truly inspiring.

It’s amazing to see someone so young already making such a powerful difference in the lives of others. Thank you Ali for reminding us all that no act of kindness is too small, and that even the youngest hearts can make the biggest impact ❤️🍋

Today, we celebrate something truly beautiful — REMISSION. 💕

Since August of 2025, my dear friend Roslyn Ionta, has faced one of the hardest journeys life could place in front of her. From the moment of diagnosis, she chose to walk through every appointment, every treatment, every difficult day with grace, strength, courage, and determination. Even when the fight was exhausting, she continued to show up (looking fabulous) with hope in her heart and a smile that inspired everyone around her.

This journey was not easy, but she never let cancer define her. Instead, she let it reveal just how strong, resilient, and incredible she truly is. Watching her push forward through the toughest moments has been nothing short of inspiring.

Today marks the beginning of a new chapter — one filled with healing, peace, positive changes, renewed dreams, and a bright future ahead. The road may have been hard, but her story is now becoming one of victory, gratitude, and new beginnings.
So incredibly proud of you Roslyn Stutz Ionta and beyond thankful to celebrate this moment by your side. Here’s to remission, healing, happiness, and living life fully again 🌼

We had the honor of donating 40 Blessed Bags to two incredible cancer centers, UPMC Moon & The Hope Center.

There is truly nothing that compares to doing good and lifting others up during some of life’s hardest moments. Each bag is filled with comfort, care, and a reminder that no one is walking this journey alone.

This Easter, we pause and remember the greatest act of love the world has ever known.

Through His sacrifice, Jesus showed us that even in the darkest moments, light will rise… that even in suffering, there is purpose… and that love will always have the final word.

Because of Him, we are given hope that never fades, grace we don’t have to earn, and a promise that we are never alone.

In a world that can feel heavy, uncertain, and divided—may we carry His love a little louder, His kindness a little further, and His hope into every heart we meet.

Today we remember Nancy Gilbertson, a beautiful Blessed Bag recipient, and dear friend of our Inlet Village community in Hutchinson Island.

I will never forget when she shared with me last year that she was having some health concerns. The diagnosis of ovarian cancer came swiftly, and from that moment on she faced it with a strength that was nothing short of extraordinary. She didn’t just “go through” cancer — she stood up to it. Fierce. Graceful. Unwavering. A true warrior in every sense of the word.

She will be deeply missed by so many — by her loving husband Hank, family & friends, and everyone in Inlet Village who had the gift of knowing her.

May we honor her by living with the same strength, the same grace, and the same beautiful heart she shared so freely. 💛

A huge THANK YOU to my very special friend, Kathy Corliss, who lovingly knitted these beautiful hats and blankets for our chemo patients. Every stitch is filled with warmth, comfort, and care — and each piece will be tucked into our tote bags as a gentle reminder that they are not alone on their journey.

These aren’t just handmade items… they’re hugs made of yarn, wrapped in kindness and hope. We are so incredibly thankful for this generosity and the love behind every loop and knot🌼

A small idea. A big comfort. 🌼

We’re excited to share a new addition to our Blessed Bag totes — soft, calming eye masks. This thoughtful addition is designed to help cancer patients block out the bright lights of treatment rooms, creating a moment of calm, rest, and peace during long days at the cancer center.

This idea came straight from the heart of a very special cancer patient, Roslyn, who shared how helpful an eye mask could be during treatment. Roslyn, thank you for trusting us with your experience and helping us make our bags even more meaningful.

Because of voices like yours, our mission continues to grow — one comforting detail at a time. 🌼
