Transitional Living and Housing
One of WICM’s primary services is “Dorcas Haven” a transitional living home for women and their children who have left domestic violence or found themselves in difficult situations and need a safe play to start over. We provide a home-like atmosphere to rest and recover. This special place provides the space and time for women to heal as they take steps towards new
beginnings. WICM staff and volunteers assist women by offering or directly linking them to professional, social and educational resources that they need as they take the necessary steps to become self-sufficient, independent and employed. Specific services we offer include counseling and therapy appropriate to their experiences and history which often times includes abuse. Spiritual Growth and Development

WICM has numerous local and regional partners committed to ensuring the successful transition of women to a life of independence, safety and stability. When needed, WICM staff will work with partners to facilitate referrals based on areas of interest or need. These referrals include:
