Calling all volunteers! Have you ever been curious about or wanted to help assemble the River Pool and put it in the water for the season? Now is your chance!

Friday June 12 from 1 pm until 4 pm and Saturday June 13 from 9 am to 3 pm at Pete and Toshi Seeger Park at 2 Red Flynn Drive in Beacon. Lunch will be provided on Saturday.

Lifeguard training available at All Sport in Fishkill starting April 7! If you're thinking about applying to come work with us this summer, here is an opportunity to get certified if you're not already.

Location: All Sport, 17 Old Main St. Fishkill, NY
Dates: 4/7, 4/10, 4/14, 4/17, 4/21, 4/24, 4/28, all classes starting at 4:00 pm.
Fees: $450 for members and $475 for non-members

Must be 15 years old and pass the pre-test on April 7.

The River Pool at Beacon is looking for lifeguards for the upcoming 2026 season! Bring a friend and work the summer together.

💲 $22/hour�
📍 Beacon, NY – Hudson River waterfront
�👥 Ages 16+ welcome (working papers required if under 18)
�⏰ Full-time or part-time shifts available

Requirements:
�🏊 Lifeguard certification (Red Cross, YMCA, etc.) River Pool will pay for lifeguard certifications.
�❤️ CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer or BLS certification

Work outdoors, meet great people, and help keep the community safe at one of Hudson River's most unique swimming spots.

Are you or someone you know interested in working with us as a lifeguard this year? American Red Cross is offering a Lifeguard Course at the Beacon High School Pool and River Pool will reimburse you for the cost of the course if you work with us this summer!

Eight hours of online coursework and attendance at all in-person sessions is required. Sessions are February 23rd-27th, 4-8pm and February 28th, 9am-1pm. Cost is $400.

NOTE: River Pool will reimburse the cost of the course at the end of the season. Applicants are responsible for registering themselves for the course. Email [email protected] for questions regarding reimbursement.
