🎉 Want to help make magic happen for Beacon City School District students?
The Foundation for Beacon Schools is gearing up for our 5th Annual Gala — and we're looking for passionate volunteers to help us pull it off! Whether you love working behind the scenes, have a knack for social media, or want to connect with local businesses, there's a role for you.
Join us at our volunteer informational meeting to learn more, ask questions, and sign up!

Here's what we need:
📋 Communications (1–2 volunteers)
Keep our team connected and on track! You'll take notes at meetings and make sure everyone has the information they need to do their part.
📣 Social Media & Promotion (1–2 volunteers)
Have a following, love making content, or just get excited about celebrating schools? Help us spread the word and build buzz around the gala!
🤝 Donor & Sponsor Liaisons (1–2 volunteers)
Reach out to local businesses and organizations about sponsoring the event, donating supplies, and coordinating pickups. No prior experience needed — just enthusiasm and a friendly attitude!
✍️ Speech Writers (1–2 volunteers)
Help us craft heartfelt remarks honoring this year's award recipients, delivered by FBS board members at the event.
🏫 School Liaisons (6+ volunteers — one per school!)
Be the bridge between FBS and your school community! We'd love a representative from each school in the district — BHS, Rombout, South Avenue, JV Forrestal, Glenham, and Sargent.
