Congratulations to Dylan Sauve on being appointed to the position of Police Officer!

Please join us in welcoming the newest member of the department, Dylan Sauve. Tonight he was sworn in by Mayor Kyriacou. He will start with the department next week and attend in-house training until the upcoming police academy.

Halfway through 2026, and we want to take a moment to acknowledge the community that makes this work possible.

This association exists to stand behind our members and the families connected to them. Whether the day brings good news or hard news, our job is to be there. That has not changed in six months. It will not change in the next six.

The second half of the year typically brings the highest demand for everything we do. We are ready for it, and we are grateful for the community standing with us going in.

Today is Peace Officer Memorial Day, and our association is pausing to honor it the right way.

On October 1, 1962, President John F. Kennedy signed Public Law 87-726, officially designating May 15 as the day this nation recognizes law enforcement personnel killed or disabled in the line of duty. According to the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund, an average of 150 to 160 law enforcement professionals are killed in the line of duty every year in the United States.

In observance of this day, we are running a fundraising drive. Financial stability for surviving families is not a bonus. It is a responsibility we take seriously.
