📣 In ONE week, we’re inviting all VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Preparation) volunteers to an informational session to discuss the free training and certification for this tax preparation program. 📣

🌱 Laura Sudhoff, the program coordinator, will be showing the materials and discussing the entire preparation process.

📍 Positions are needed at all of our tax preparation locations in Barre, Morrisville, Randolph and Waitsfield.

🌟 A Shine Bright Moment 🌟

🎉 🎉 Two cheers for the Blue Crew! A huge thank you to the Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Vermont volunteers who rolled up their sleeves at our Food Shelf in Barre! From repackaging sour cream to unloading an entire truckload of supplies and getting everything ready for the next day’s opening, your hard work made a real difference. You’re always welcome back!

💕 Celebrating two wonderful colleagues! Please join us in congratulating Maureen Dougherty and Mary Johnson, who retired from their roles in our Community Economic Development Department on September 30th. Their teammates sent them off with a joyful celebration, and we wish them both the best in this new exciting chapter of life!

📣 Capstone Community Action will be hosting our annual free Tax preparation classes coming up soon. Every year the volunteers assist our clients to file their Federal and State income taxes after they become certified. We do taxes in Barre, Randolph, Morrisville, Waitsfield and the surrounding communities. No prior experience is necessary.
