VASA is the statewide association of local ATV clubs, authorized by the State of Vermont, to develop ATV trails throughout the state.

VASA is dedicated to developing, promoting and conserving responsible family-based ATV recreation in Vermont. Welcome to The Vermont All-Terrain Vehicles Sportsman's Association, Inc. VASA, through the local clubs and in collaboration with local, State and Federal land managers is working to develop and manage a state-wide ATV trail system of corridors, links and local trails, for the enjoyment of Vermont's families and guests. You can help VASA by joining and becoming active in your local club, practicing good ATV ethics and trail safety, and by presenting a good image of our sport each and every time you ride.

Great Trails Start with Great People! 🛞🌲

What an incredible weekend of learning, collaboration, and getting our hands dirty!

VASA was proud to host a two-day NOHVCC Great Trails Workshop, bringing together 24 volunteers from our local ATV clubs to learn the ins and outs of building and maintaining sustainable trails.

From trail planning and design to drainage, erosion prevention, landowner relations, and everything in between, our volunteers got the FULL picture of what it takes to build and maintain a successful trail system. And on Sunday, we took that knowledge into the field in Hardwick for some hands-on learning!

One of the biggest highlights? Bringing our trail builders together! The opportunity to share experiences, exchange ideas, and learn from one another was absolutely priceless.

A HUGE thank you to instructor Kim Frederick for his incredible energy, knowledge, and enthusiasm throughout the weekend. You made learning fun, engaging, and genuinely valuable!

We also want to thank NOHVCC and Vermont's Recreational Trails Program (RTP) for helping make this opportunity possible.

Our trail system doesn't maintain itself. Behind those 1,200+ miles of trails are dedicated volunteers who give their time, energy, and expertise to keep Vermont riding. Investing in their education is investing in the future of our sport.

Better knowledge. Better trails. Stronger clubs. 💪
