It was a HUGE weekend for the store—one of our highest sales days at the Main Store and Annex with the Fill-A-Bag sale going on at the Donation Center. We have a lot of new stock available for you today.

WE ARE OPENING specific DONATIONS THIS SATURDAY 6/13th -

but NO women's.

We desperately need kids and mens SUMMER, so nothing outside this season stuff please so we can focus on getting them sorted and to the store.

After the sale- We ended up with 3 bins for St Albans, 26 bags donated to another organization, and about 12 bins I think of items that will go out for free and probably 12 we kept for another time.

Today we got our Family Center completely back together and cleaned it. Thanks to my 2 volunteers who helped me for hours today. Combined we did about 13hrs today on this project. This is normally my paperwork day so I'm going to be starting on that pretty late but it feels good to have that space back to normal.

We went through the remaining bins needed and got free items to the store and empty bins all stacked up after this sale. We never have empty bins left over. But we have TONS! But because of projects volunteers are working one it's one more week we are not accepting donations.

We even got some paintings finally hung in the family center bathroom. The blurry one says something about when storms come your way to dance in the rain. Pretty appropriate for today.

Thank you all those for shopping and making the effort of today's sale worth it!!

Thank you to all those who volunteered when they weren't even signed up for today! Thank you for those who worked longer than planned! We could NOT have done it without all of you. Numerous people were not available last minute so it truly could not have been accomplished without all the help we got today.

We still have more work to do to get our a Family Center back together which was my goal today but we did move the tables all back where they belonged and sorted through all the items left in bins.

Stay tuned for free items which will be put outside our store weekly til gone. They will be there when we are closed so that it's easy to not accidentally charge people for items from those bins.
