*Provide DMV-inspected, affordable tires ($30 or less per tire) to Vermonters in need

*Recycle unwanted tires, reducing the number in our rivers and along our roadways

Since 2005, Wheels for Warmth has raised $610,000 for emergency fuel assistance, sold 25,000 safe donated tires, and recycled 50,000 unsafe tires. Sponsored by: Casella Waste Systems, VSECU, WDEV/Radio VT Group, Jet Service Envelope, AGC, Vermont Granite Museum, and Casella Construction, Inc.

Established in 2005, Wheels for Warmth has three goals:

1️⃣ Raise funds for emergency heating assistance distributed through five Vermont Community Action Agencies—CVOEO, Capstone, BROC, NEKCA, and SEVCA.

2️⃣ Create a resource of DMV-inspected tires that are safe for at least one season of use and can be sold to Vermonters at affordable prices.

3️⃣ Provide a convenient, inexpensive way to dispose of unwanted tires—reducing the number discarded in rivers, along roadways, or in other improper locations.
