👉🏼You can make an impact and support our feeding projects whether by giving financially or donating your returnable cans and bottles (we return them and use the net proceeds to fund our feeding projects)!

🥚 🥬🍚🫛Our Feeding Project is multi-faceted as it includes education and training, funding for nutritious food, crisis food outreach, and implementing sustainable ways to grow food.

✨Our current feeding project outreaches include:
-Small agricultural project training and learning to grow their own food
-School feeding programs
-Education on importance of high-protein foods and creating plans to work toward sustainability with growing own food in small spaces
-Short term crisis care- food packages through monthly outreach to families in need

Benefits:
-Provide high protein, nutrient rich foods that enable children to learn as malnutrition affects the ability of a child to learn and stunts their growth

We are ending this month highlighting this empowerment program and will share more about one of our ministry partner’s story- The EYE Children’s Centre. We will also share some beneficiary testimonies 😊🫶🏻

In the midst of family loss and hardships, one of our ministry partners continued to serve others in their time of need. Here we have another woman who was trained in conical gardening about a month or so ago. Due to schedule availability the training went on even as it got dark out and they used the light from their phones to finish.

Another one of our empowerment programs is our 🐓 SMALL AGRICULTURAL PRACTICES🪏

👉🏼Description: Our small agricultural practices provide individuals with education, training, and experience when it comes to small gardening and farming techniques.

✔️Benefits include:
-Saved money due to not having to buy fertilizer
-Created healthy soil and bigger yields and required less amounts of water
-Prevented dependency on buying seeds from seed companies
-Easier physically on people’s backs
-Ability to grow a large amount of food in a small space, using less amounts of water (water saving which is essential due to their limited access to clean water); uses recycled materials; and requires less weeding
-Easier for elderly and disabled to tend to the garden as it requires less on their backs physically
-Vital part for the plant growth that creates healthy soil; produces better results; and prevents them from having to buy fertilizer
-Beneficial and important for their health (physical, nutritional, hormonal)
-Important that they are able to preserve biodiversity in their farms/gardens
-It prevents dependency on seed companies when they learn how to save and use their own seeds
-Provides access to training about homesteading skills that leads to self-sufficiency

🪥 Tabasama oral hygiene project 🪥

Description: This project includes providing oral health education to families and distributing dental supplies such as toothbrushes and toothpaste.

This is a very new project. Below is a picture of a little boy who received his own dental hygiene supplies during an outreach done in April.

Touched by Love International is currently in need of $200 a month to maintain our mission work.

A quick look at our sanitation, health, & hygiene initiatives we’ve done in the past and are currently doing in Nakuru, Kenya. We will share a couple of the testimonies/stories below over the next couple weeks from outreaches that were done in the past few months.
