What we humans call music is an expression - conscious or not - of an imperfectly glimpsed microcosmic reflection of this utterly fantastic image.

Snow, beef, and revolutionary transformation.

The M*F orchestra will perform (newly recorded) compositions by Bashi Rose, Will Redman, and Lisa Perry. Two of those three will be world premieres!

Spectral dogs, phonemes, and the god of isolation.

The Anchorites (vocal phenoms of note in Baltimore) will perform the music of Cat Lamb, Tim Holt, and James David Young!

Drinks, your friends, and a summer evening of sounds.

John’s been mining the avant musical divine for this series, and we’re real damn happy to add some reverberation to the already mythic Peace in the Valley.

PROCEDURES is music about procedures. PROCEDURES is a composition in three movements by Jeremy Lyons for flute, guitar, cello, and video. PROCEDURES change subtly over time through aural processes. PROCEDURES create an environment that can feel calming or even hypnotic. But only after time do you realize how the PROCEDURES have changed.
