Arts Every Day’s 11th annual 10X10 Exhibit invites Baltimore City Public Schools students and teachers to explore the people, places, experiences, and ideas that make our city unique. 🍎This past Saturday Early Career Arts Teachers from Baltimore City Public Schools met with veteran mentor teachers for the first welcome breakfast as part of the Early Career Arts Teachers (ECAT) Fellowship. During the breakfast, fellows came up with mantras and artworks to guide their work throughout the school year while building relationships with one another and with their mentors. Arts Every Day Executive Director Julia DiBussolo was honored to attend Saturday’s Baltimore Symphony Orchestra Gala as the guest of First Lady of Baltimore Hana Scott, who recently joined the Arts Every Day Board of Directors. We’re thrilled to welcome Hana to the AED family and grateful for her leadership and commitment to the arts and to Baltimore’s young people.

A small advocacy win can make a big difference. After Baltimore Advocates for Arts Education (BA4AE) pushed Baltimore City Public Schools to make school budget guidance publicly available, Arts Every Day staff used that information to help an arts educator advocate for resources at her school. The result? $9,000 in funding for materials of instruction.
