What is Emergency Contraception / the Morning-After Pill?
Per Planned Parenthood: "If you use emergency contraception correctly (within 3-5 days) after you have unprotected s*x, it makes it much less likely that you’ll get pregnant. Emergency contraception pills are safe, don’t cause any long-term side effects, and won’t affect your ability to get pregnant in the future. You can buy morning-after pills over the counter without a prescription in 7-Eleven and in most drugstores, pharmacies, and superstores."
The morning-after pill is a very safe and effective emergency contraceptive that can be taken after unprotected s*x to prevent pregnancy.
