Big news from Cuba!

Teaching Artist Institute recently visited the Latin American School of Medicine (ELAM) to explore a future partnership through the TAI Studies & Cultural Exchange Program.

We're developing a proposed 2027 educational delegation focused on Indigenous and traditional medicine, public health, community wellness, and medical education in Cuba.

Did you know that students from around the world have attended medical school in Cuba through scholarship opportunities designed to expand access to healthcare education?

This is just the beginning. Stay tuned as we continue building bridges through global learning, cultural exchange, and community-centered healing.
