TouchPoint Baltimore

TouchPoint Baltimore Building a better community starts with enhancing the lives of its residents. That’s the goal – the passion – of TouchPoint Baltimore.

Nonprofits and local corporations working together to leverage our assets to strengthen the Mondawmin community and Baltimore by sharing resources, information, and access to talent and networks. We are a unique collaboration of three nonprofit groups, two local corporations, and a community partner leveraging our assets to strengthen the Mondawmin community and Baltimore by sharing resources, inf

ormation, and access to talent and networks. NONPROFIT PARTNERS:
THREAD helps under-performing high school students overcome significant barriers outside of the classroom and become self-motivated, resilient, and responsible citizens. Each student is matched with a team of committed volunteers for 10 years and provided access to community resources to foster academic advancement and personal growth. BALTIMORE CORPS enlists talented leaders to advance Baltimore’s most promising social innovations and establish a citywide agenda for equity and racial justice. Baltimore Corps is known for its Fellowship program, matching talent to opportunity through its Place for Purpose program, and providing support to innovative leaders through its Elevation Awards. CENTER FOR URBAN FAMILIES (CFUF) strengthens urban communities by helping fathers and families achieve stability and economic success. CFUF is a leading voice in the national conversation on responsible fatherhood, a successful advocate for child support reform in Maryland and a support network for Baltimore’s most vulnerable citizens. COMMUNITY PARTNER:
THE GREATER MONDAWMIN COORDINATING COUNCIL provides service and advocacy for improved literacy, housing, educational, recreational, workforce, and cultural opportunities for people who live and work within its geographic boundaries. CORPORATE PARTNERS:

For London, a senior at ACE High School, TouchPoint provided her with a space to bond with her peers and find her voice.

Through her experiences, London gained the tools and confidence to run for school President—and win. Now a leader and mentor to her peers, she is heading to college with a mission to help others and the drive to put herself out there.

We’re proud to see London using her platform to give back to the community that helped her grow!
