As-salāmu ʿalaykum wa raḥmatullāhi wa barakātuh,
The blessed month of Dhul Hijjah began on Monday, May 18, 2026, and Yawm Arafah will be observed on Tuesday, May 26, 2026. Accordingly, Eid-ul-Adha will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 27, 2026.
The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said regarding the first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah:
“There are no days in which righteous deeds are more beloved to Allah than these ten days.”
The people asked, “Not even Jihad for the sake of Allah?” He (Peace And Blessings Be Upon Him) replied: “Not even Jihad for the sake of Allah, except in the case of a man who went out to fight, giving himself and his wealth up for the cause, and came back with nothing.” (Sahih al-Bukhari)
EID PRAYER LOCATIONS
The participating Islamic Centers explored options for a joint Eid prayer, but with attendance now exceeding 15,000 — and the parking and traffic logistics that come with a weekday morning — central venues are no longer feasible.
After careful consultation, the joint shura agreed that Eid-ul-Adha prayers will be held at each participating Islamic Center this year. Please visit your local Islamic Center’s website below for prayer timings, parking instructions, and other important details.
We encourage everyone to observe the Sunnahs of Eid, including taking ghusl, wearing one’s best garments, reciting the takbīrāt after Fajr, and then proceeding to your local Islamic Center for Eid prayer.
We ask Allah (SWT) to accept our worship, sacrifices, and good deeds during these blessed days. We humbly request your prayers and continued support in all of our community efforts.
Jazakum Allāhu khairan!
