Carly is the JGrads president. A second year student in the sociology PhD program, where she is writing her master's thesis on jewish identity and participation, she founded JGrads with Rabbi Zev last year and
is looking forward to making the group THE place for Jewish graduate students on campus!

Alon is the Social Media representative and is starting his second year as an MBA at UT Austin. He has moved to Austin from Tel Aviv, Israel last year and is looking forward to push JGrads forward by planning, together with the JGrads board, great events which would bring together the young adult Jewish community of UT.

David is the GSA/UT Liason rep and is beginning his fifth year here at UT. He is from San Francisco, California and is studying accounting in the integrated MPA grad program. He has been actively involved in Chabad on campus since his freshman year. Chabad is a place where David enjoys meeting new people as well as catching up with old friends

Elina is the Torah with a Twist Representative and is a third year pharmacy student here at the best school around! She's been a longhorn since day 1 at UT and it's been 7 years and counting. She's also excited to help the Jewish graduate community flourish and support Chabad in all the ways she can!

Gary came to Austin to study Environmental Engineering by way of Phoenix, Tucson, and Montreal. He'll be the Holiday Rep for JGrads and is hoping to plan some pleasurable celebrations of Jewish holidays. In his free time, he enjoys training for triathlons and reading the teachings of his favorite Rabbi, Abraham Joshua Heschel.

Alisa is the social and volunteer representative and is starting her first full year as a PhD student in Communication Sciences and Disorders at UT. Her alma mater is The Ohio State University and she can't seem to stay away from large universities with active Jewish communities. She's excited to bring meaningful volunteer opportunities for JGrads this year!
