The Democratic Socialists of America want amnesty for all illegal aliens and an end to ICE detentions and deportations. A new White House Council of Economic Advisers report says their immigration agenda could cost taxpayers $440 billion to $613 billion over 10 years.

We've tried amnesty before. The 1986 law legalized about 2.7 million people, but the illegal alien population still grew from an estimated 3.5 million in 1990 to 12.2 million by 2007.

Selene Rodriguez explains why mass amnesty isn't a solution, and why taxpayers would be the ones paying for it. Read her full op-ed in the comments.

In Irving ISD, the same entities contributing to getting billion-dollar bonds passed are the ones who will be awarded contracts from the very bond they’re helping pass. So local governments go into more debt, and these architecture and construction firms get a massive return on investment from the taxpayer.

Gov. Abbott just sent Texas DPS to root out Sharia courts statewide. 🎥👇

“The Texas Constitution does not allow Sharia courts or Sharia law.”

We are grateful to Gov. Abbott for ensuring that no parallel systems of governance are allowed to operate in the State of Texas, so that all Texans are ruled by one Constitution and one rule of law. 🇺🇸

For 35 years, Wings of Mercy has provided free flights to patients in underserved communities seeking critical medical care.

But the FAA’s interpretation of federal law is making it harder for volunteer pilots to help, preventing them from receiving reimbursement for fuel costs despite a congressional mandate allowing it.

TPPF has filed two federal lawsuits challenging the FAA’s overreach and fighting to keep these lifesaving flights in the air.

Mexico’s former presidents are coming back, and that’s a warning sign.

In Mexico, ex-presidents have traditionally picked a successor and then left public life. AMLO broke that norm, and now Calderón and Fox are back in politics too. Joshua Treviño explains why that tradition kept Mexico stable for nearly a century, and why its collapse should worry anyone watching the border.

Irving ISD is proposing a $952 million dollar bond which if passed will wipe out nearly half of the property tax cut passed by the state legislature this past year. It’s another example of local governments coming in and increasing spending and debt at the expense of Texans property tax bills.
