TransfromAsia was originally started as Kampuchea for Christ USA by Dr. Setan and Randa Lee in 1995.

At TransformAsia we are raising up a new generation of fully devoted followers of Christ who are being transformed and equipped to influence the culture of Cambodia and beyond. We are bringing eternal and lasting transformation to the Cambodian people through the renewal of hearts and minds as we present the message of salvation and forgiveness through Jesus Christ. We do this through evangelism, discipleship, church planting, The David Center Orphanage, The Battambang Trade School, The New Development Women’s Center, the (future) TransformAsia University, the Dump Daycare Center, Child Sponsorship Program, mobile clinics, and musical evangelism.

We are so happy with the transformation happening at our Battambang Center. This is a dorm ministry where students who live too far away come and stay. We have Andy and Pha Skinner helping us there and making connections with the students. It has been so rainy out which leads to floods, but life still continues on. Pha recently went to support one of the new dorm student who received a special honor. She had to wade through the floods to enter the building, but it is a joy to be able to support the students where they are and be a light to them!

Please continue to pray for Andy and Pha-for their health, and for wisdom in all that they do.

We are so thankful for the Joy Day Care Center and the work they are doing. This center is located in Phnom Penh, the bustling capital city of Cambodia. Therefore when foreigners are in Phnom Penh sometimes, they feel led to help out with humanitarian aid and are directed to come help us. The conflict with Thailand has caused many foreigners to not travel to Cambodia which impacts so many aspects of life here. At times we have to have all the children together learning which can make things difficult for the different ages. Please be in prayer for more local volunteers who love Jesus and love to help children.

At our David Orphanage Center we make sure that the children experience important tasks that they will need when they get older. They help to wash their clothes; they help with taking care of the property and they learn to cook. Praise God for leaders who help with patience and love.

Cambodia is in the midst of the Pchum Ben holiday. Many people are traveling around the country to be with family members. Most of the students who call the Battambang Dorm their home during the school year have gone to be with their families. Some are still at the Center. We are still doing ministry with the Street Children during this time. Thank you for prayers for everyone-for good health and protection.

We are so thankful for friends-new an old-who come to visit us and see the work we are doing in Cambodia.

A few days ago we had friends from Singapore come and visit the Joy Day Care Center! We hope to see them again soon!

Joy Day Care, since being in the heart of a bustling city, is one of the easier Centers to get to. We have many international teams and individuals who have helped us at this Center. With the conflict on the border, we have seen a drop in volunteers but praise the Lord for our new friends.

Please be in prayer for Cambodia as the season of Pchum Ben (Ancestors' Day) — ភ្ជុំបិណ្ឌ is upon us. The main days of celebration are October 10-12 this year. Pray for believers to resist any temptation to join in and be bold and loving in sharing their believe in Jesus to family and friends. Prayers for safety during this time. And prayers as flooding is still an issue in the country but especially around the Thai border.
