The Aspen Ross Legacy Foundation is excited to announce our recipient for our 2026 college scholarship— Reese Gallant from San Angelo, Texas. Reese will be attending Texas Tech University for her Masters in English. Her ultimate goal is to one day become an English professor! 👏🏻

In high school, Reese was diagnosed with an anaplastic ganglioglioma brain tumor the size of an orange. She underwent surgery and radiation for the tumor and her scans remained clear for several years. Then during her senior year of undergrad, the cancer returned and spread quickly. She then went through a newer chemotherapy treatment and thankfully the tumors shrunk dramatically! Although she is in a much better place now, cancer still affects her life daily, as it does many of those in remission. Reese said she feels “overwhelmingly honored to have been chosen to carry on Aspens legacy.” We wish her the best at Texas Tech!

This past weekend we were able to drop off some donated books to the kids at Children’s Hospital in Denver 🧡 As always, they were super appreciative! They let us know of some items they are in need of. I will do another post soon with the link once I add those items to our wishlist!

Also, stay tuned as we will be announcing the recipient of our annual Aspen Ross Legacy Foundation scholarship in the coming weeks! 👏🏻
