Don’t miss a beat.

Today is World Heart Day, a reminder that knowing the signs of a heart attack — and acting quickly — can save a life.

Know the warning signs:
• Chest pain, pressure, squeezing, or discomfort
• Shortness of breath
• Pain or discomfort in the arms, back, neck, jaw, or stomach
• Nausea or vomiting
• Cold sweat
• Lightheadedness or dizziness
• Unusual or extreme fatigue

Heart attack symptoms don’t always look the way we expect. If you think you or someone around you may be experiencing a heart attack, don’t wait. Call 911.

Know the signs. Act quickly. Every minute matters.
