When my Mom died she left me with a huge hole in my heart and a lot of time on my hands. Miraculously I found my way to volunteering at the Humane Society of the Sierra Foothills Used Bookstore. Mom loved nothing more than her rescue cat and a good Agatha Christie mystery (yes Death on the Nile was one of her faves) and she would have loved this wonderful bookstore I now have the honor of helping with their vintage books. If you’re lucky enough to have your Mom around, come see us and find a wonderful book for her and yourself and remember our Vintage book sale is Saturday May 2nd. We’re located at 381b Nevada Street in Auburn and are open Monday through Saturday from 10-5:30 💕
