🎭 CAST SPOTLIGHT: ADRIANA NEVES 🎭

Meet Adriana Neves, a member of the ensemble making her Placer Community Theater debut in They’re Playing Our Song!

Adriana’s previous credits include Witch #2 in Macbeth and Baptista Minola in The Taming of the Shrew with The Walking Shadow Theatre Company. She is currently working toward her bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in directing.

When she isn’t studying or performing, Adriana can be found harmonizing to show tunes in the garden. She sends many thanks to her family and friends for their endless support!

CAST SPOTLIGHT: JOSHUA BROWN 🎭

Meet Joshua Brown, a member of the ensemble making his Placer Community Theater debut in They’re Playing Our Song!

Born and raised in Auburn, Joshua is an actor and director based in Newcastle. After recently returning to the area, he is excited to perform on local stages again.

His favorite acting credits include Cat in the Hat in Seussical, Mitch Mahoney in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Joseph in Amélie, the Old Man in A Christmas Story, and John Hinckley Jr. in Assassins.

Joshua’s directing credits include Peter Pan, Into the Woods, Bye Bye Birdie, Little Shop of Horrors, and Urinetown. Offstage, he works as a pediatric occupational therapist in private practice.

🎭 CAST SPOTLIGHT: CHEYENNE GREEN 🎭

Meet Cheyenne Green, a member of the ensemble in Placer Community Theater’s They’re Playing Our Song!

A busy mother and wife, Cheyenne has shared her love of dance as an instructor at Pamelot School of Dance for more than 20 years. She also works in the mental health field and serves as a member of the Gold Country Church worship team.

Singing, dancing, and songwriting are just a few of Cheyenne’s favorite things. They’re Playing Our Song marks her third production with PCT, and she is thrilled to be working with such an amazing and talented group of people!

🎭 CAST SPOTLIGHT: BRUCE BARNARD 🎭

Meet Bruce Barnard, a member of the ensemble in Placer Community Theater’s They’re Playing Our Song!

Bruce has been involved in theater for nine years, beginning after his move to the Grass Valley area. He is grateful for every opportunity to perform alongside the many talented cast and crew members he has met along the way.

His previous roles include the Shah in A Woman for Our Time at the Nevada Theatre; Cratchit and Old Joe in Scrooge; and Clarence and other characters in It’s a Wonderful Life with LeGacy Productions.

PCT audiences may also recognize Bruce as journalist Carl Phillips in War of the Worlds, Gene Culpepper in Murders in the Heir, Sheriff Will Masters in Bus Stop, Ralph in Pickleball, and multiple characters in The 39 Steps.

🎭 CAST SPOTLIGHT: DALETZA BENITEZ MACIAS 🎭

Meet Daletza Benitez Macias, appearing in the ensemble as Sonia Voice 2 in Placer Community Theater’s They’re Playing Our Song!

Daletza began performing at age two through traditional dance in her home country. Drawn naturally to the theater, she has worked both onstage and behind the scenes.

A versatile “crossover vocalist,” Daletza earned an A.A. in Jazz Studies and Voice Instructor Certificates from American River College. Her experience spans musical theater, jazz ensembles, rock bands, classical repertoire, and recording work with Magic Carpet Music.

In 2023, Daletza opened Crossover Voice Studio, where she loves helping students reach their vocal goals and thrive in their musical careers.

When she isn’t teaching or performing, you’ll find her paddleboarding, enjoying fried chicken, or listening to her latest K-pop obsession!

🎭 Meet the Cast: Tony Lopez!

Tony joins Placer Community Theater’s production of They’re Playing Our Song as Vernon’s Voice 2.

A longtime supporter of the arts and a nonprofit professional, Tony is taking a break from advocacy and fundraising to revisit his original love of performing. He first took to the stage in the 1990s, but life led him toward a more behind-the-scenes role after college.

Now entering a new chapter, Tony is excited to rekindle his relationship with the stage and give back to his community through the performing arts. We’re thrilled to welcome him to this talented ensemble!
