Aerospace Maintenance Council The Aerospace Maintenance Council hosts a competition that tests the knowledge, skill and integrity of today's aviation maintenance professionals.

The Aerospace Maintenance Competition (AMC) is a venue for teams of certificated Aircraft Maintenance Technicians, Aircraft Maintenance Engineers and students enrolled in either FAA, EASA, CASA or equivalently authorized schools as well as personnel of any country’s Armed Forces that are involved in the aircraft maintenance and spacecraft maintenance field. The AMC is an opportunity for today’s an

d tomorrow’s skilled Aviation Maintenance Professionals to test their combined abilities against those of their peers. The AMC is an exciting competition that will help with the constant upgrading of the standards that today’s skilled Aviation Maintenance Professionals hold themselves to. The AMC also provides a stage to highlight the knowledge, skill and integrity that is the foundation of today’s and tomorrow’s AMTs and AMEs. By providing a stage that showcases these principles of the AMT and AME craft and profession the AMC will help raise awareness of the training and skill needed for providing safe, airworthy aircraft… worldwide.

The Council has two key rule updates ahead of the 2027 Competition Series:

📚 Expanded Education & Training Category:
The former "School" category now includes participants from national aviation authority-certificated training programs and registered apprenticeship programs, opening the door for more international competitors and diverse career pathways into the profession.

⚖️ New Affiliated Team Scoring Rule:
To promote fairness, teams employed by the same company hosting a competitive event will receive an adjusted score, helping level the playing field for all competitors.

These changes reflect AMC's commitment to inclusivity, workforce development, and global engagement as The Competition continues to grow worldwide.

Today, we honor the men and women who gave their lives in service to our country 🪖

Many of those who served were aviation maintenance technicians 🛠️ keeping aircraft mission-ready, often in the most challenging conditions. Their skill, dedication, and sacrifice ensured that missions could be completed and service members could return home safely. ✈️

The Council remembers and thanks those who made the ultimate sacrifice. We're grateful for their service and the legacy they left behind in aviation maintenance and beyond.
