Aerospace Maintenance Council The Aerospace Maintenance Council hosts a competition that tests the knowledge, skill and integrity of today's aviation maintenance professionals.

The Aerospace Maintenance Competition (AMC) is a venue for teams of certificated Aircraft Maintenance Technicians, Aircraft Maintenance Engineers and students enrolled in either FAA, EASA, CASA or equivalently authorized schools as well as personnel of any country’s Armed Forces that are involved in the aircraft maintenance and spacecraft maintenance field. The AMC is an opportunity for today’s and tomorrow’s skilled Aviation Maintenance Professionals to test their combined abilities against those of their peers. The AMC is an exciting competition that will help with the constant upgrading of the standards that today’s skilled Aviation Maintenance Professionals hold themselves to. The AMC also provides a stage to highlight the knowledge, skill and integrity that is the foundation of today’s and tomorrow’s AMTs and AMEs. By providing a stage that showcases these principles of the AMT and AME craft and profession the AMC will help raise awareness of the training and skill needed for providing safe, airworthy aircraft… worldwide.

The Competition at returns to Orlando in 2027 ✈️

🗓️ Team registration opens October 1.

Five-member teams of aviation maintenance professionals and students will compete in events designed to test the knowledge, skill and teamwork required to keep aircraft safe and airworthy.

The 2027 Competition Series also includes VERTICON in Anaheim 🚁 and the inaugural MRO Asia-Pacific Competition in Singapore 🌏 Registration for all three opens this Thursday!

A new global stage for aviation maintenance excellence is coming to Singapore. ✈️

The inaugural Competition at MRO Asia-Pacific will bring three-member teams together for hands-on events showcasing technical skill, professionalism and teamwork.

From the hangar to the flight line, this work takes focus, teamwork and pride in the craft. 🔧

Thank you to every technician, student, instructor, judge, coach and industry partner who strengthens the future of aviation maintenance.

Happy Labour Day/Labor Day!

To all the skilled workers who keep our countries running — we honour/honor the people whose labour/labor builds our communities, fuels our economies, and makes everyday life possible.

Every safe landing in the United States and Canada is proof of what skilled labor delivers when it is respected, protected, and paid what it's worth. Aviation Maintenance Professions don't get a "thank you" when we find a problem from the carriers that profit off our work — we get contract fights, outsourcing threats, and understaffed shops. What we have, we organized for. What we're owed, we're still fighting to collect.

These fights are won from the floor up, by skilled aviation professionals who refuse to be an afterthought in an industry that runs on our licenses/certifications and our skilled expertise.

Solidarity this Labour Day/Labor Day, from every frontline aviation professional to every union local.

Fatigue is more than a personal concern. Long days, urgent tasks and limited rest can introduce serious human-performance risks into aviation maintenance.
