Hi everyone, I’m Stewart! 🤍

I’m still waiting patiently for my foster or forever home and hoping my people find me soon. While I’m currently staying in boarding, my walking team has been getting to know me better and they keep saying what an absolute delight I am to be around. That makes my fluffy Pyr heart very happy. 😊

One of my best qualities? I walk beautifully on a leash — I’ve even been told I have “perfect heeling.” I’d make an excellent walking buddy for neighborhood strolls, hiking adventures, or peaceful evening walks. I have a calm, easygoing energy level and really just enjoy being with my people.

I’m also a very affectionate boy in my own sweet, gentle way. I LOVE cheek rubs and will happily give you my signature Pyr paw when I want a little extra love and attention. I’m tender-hearted and respectful, especially with other dogs. When I meet new dog friends, all I want to do is play! And if another dog gives me a little warning growl, I politely back off and respect their space.

I’m housebroken, quiet, and not food aggressive at all. I don’t ask for much — just kindness, companionship, and a soft place to land. The people who spend time with me say I’m simply a gorgeous, pleasant Pyr who is easy to enjoy being around.

Honestly, I think I’d thrive in a home where I can finally relax, stretch out, and be part of a family instead of waiting in a kennel. I know my perfect match is out there somewhere. Could it be you? 🐾

🎉 - ZENA 🎉

Sweet Zena found her forever home with Amanda of Marietta, GA! Zena has lots of companionship in her new home, where she’ll be living with Amanda, her parents, and their Golden Retriever, Sunny.

Amanda had her last Pyr for nearly 12 wonderful years and was heartbroken after losing her last year. While she wasn’t in a rush to adopt again, she wanted to have her application ready for when the pyrfect dog came along. When Amanda attended one of our adoption day events and met Zena, there was an instant connection.

Even though she was still grieving and unsure if she was ready, she took a few days to think it over — but she simply couldn’t stop thinking about Zena. That’s when she knew it was meant to be and made arrangements to come pick her up the very next afternoon! ❤️

Hi there! I’m Aster 🐾

I came into rescue with my sisters Lily, Daisy, Poppy, and Rosie, and right now Poppy and I are hanging out together in a foster home with some awesome canine siblings who are teaching us all about being family dogs.

When I first got here, I was a little more independent… but wow, have things changed! These days, I’m turning into quite the social butterfly. I’m soooo friendly, loving, and always excited to spend time with my people and my dog friends.

One of my favorite things? PLAYTIME! My foster family says I’m constantly playing with their dogs, and I absolutely love having canine buddies around. I’ve really embraced being part of the pack and would probably enjoy a home with another playful dog to keep me company.

I also LOVE people and am becoming more affectionate every day. I’m happy to soak up attention, get pets, and be part of whatever my humans are doing. Whether we’re outside enjoying the fresh air or hanging out inside together, I just love being included.

I’m playful, sweet, social, and settling into family life beautifully. My foster family says I’ve really come out of my shell, and now I’m showing everyone just what a fun and loving boy I am.

If you’re looking for a happy, friendly pup who loves people, children, enjoys playing with other dogs, and is ready to become your new best friend… I might just be your guy.

If I had to describe myself in a few words, I’d say I’m calm, mindful, friendly, playful, and affectionate… basically, I’m the kind of guy who brings peaceful energy wherever I go.

Right now, I’m hanging out in a foster home and learning all about family life while I wait for my forever people to find me. My foster momma says I’m an amazing dog and I think I’m doing a pretty good job proving her right.

I’m the perfect mix of laid-back and fun. I LOVE lounging on the couch, relaxing in the yard, and being close to my people. Need a walking buddy? I’m in. Looking for a cuddle companion? Also in. I’m happy just being wherever my humans are. 💙
I’m a toy enthusiast too — I especially enjoy tossing toys around and entertaining myself. Sometimes I’ll borrow household items that weren’t exactly intended to be toys… but don’t worry, I’m gentle with them and easy to redirect.
I’m food motivated (which means I’m smart 😉). I figured out pretty quickly that if I crate myself at mealtime, good things happen! I already know “crate,” walk nicely on leash, and I’m a calm, easygoing guy who enjoys learning.

I do great with people and enjoy attention — honestly, the more pets, the better. I’m friendly with other dogs too and do best with respectful canine friends. Once I settle in and get comfortable, I fit right into the pack.
I respect fences, ride nicely in the car, use the doggy door, and I’m happy hanging inside or outside as long as I’m near my people.

My foster momma says one of her favorite things about me is that I bring a peaceful, loving presence into the home and happily accept pats for as long as you’re willing to give them.

🎉 – PIP 🎉

Sweet Pip found his forever home and a brand new name — Pepperjack!

Pepperjack was adopted by Sarah and Austin of Acworth, GA, and it sounds like this lucky boy hit the jackpot. He’s settling into a home filled with love, adventure, and new friendships.

He now has two Siamese mix feline siblings to share his days with — and the best part? They’ve already bonded! It’s clear this crew was meant to be.

Pepperjack also has a large yard to explore with a creek running behind it, giving him plenty of room to stretch his legs, sniff new things, and enjoy all the outdoor adventures a Great Pyrenees could dream of. He’s already making friends with some of the neighborhood dogs too — social calendar officially booked!

We couldn’t be happier for this sweet boy as he begins his next chapter surrounded by love and companionship.

Hello! I’m Poppy 🌸

I came into rescue with my brother Aster and my sisters Lily, Daisy, and Rosie, and right now Aster and I are having a great time together in our foster home with some wonderful canine siblings helping us learn the ropes.

I’m definitely more of a people pup. I LOVE being close to my humans and I’m happiest when I can keep you company. Cuddles? Yes please. Following you around? Absolutely. Hanging out together? My favorite!

The funny thing is — I’m not shy at all. I’m confident, friendly, and ready to jump right into whatever the day brings. Whether we’re outside exploring or inside curled up near you, I’m happy as long as I get to spend time with my people.

I’m very sweet, great with other dogs, and I love meeting new friends. My foster family says I have a wonderful personality because I’m affectionate without being demanding — I just really enjoy being part of the family.

Sweet Birch Woods has found her forever home with Carrie and Bryan of Marietta, GA!

Birch is stepping into a life full of love, adventure, and BIG dog energy with her new Great Dane sister, Ellie Mae! Carrie and Bryan have a special place in their hearts for giant breeds and were hoping to find Ellie Mae a permanent playmate—and Birch was the perfect match. Ellie Mae already enjoys playdates with the neighbor’s German Shorthaired Pointer and Bryan’s stepdad’s Mini Schnauzer, so Birch will have no shortage of furry friends and fun!

Birch will enjoy endless playtime in their fenced yard, plenty of love and attention, and an extra special bonus… Mom works from home, so she’ll have companionship throughout the day. 🐶💕
