Celebrating Cohort 8 of The Academy!

What a journey it has been! From day one to graduation, these students have worked hard, grown their skills, and celebrated plenty of milestones along the way.

Graduation may mark the end of their time in The Academy, but they’ll always be part of the Tommy Nobis Center family. We hope they’ll come back often to share their success with future cohorts, reconnect with friends and staff, and join us for CONNECT events!

Congratulations, Cohort 8! We’ll be cheering you on and can’t wait to see what’s next!

It’s not too late to register! A Microsoft Teams link will be provided on the registration page when you sign up.

We’re thankful to the NAPA/Genuine Parts Company volunteers who joined our EYES and Academy students for a “Spark the Lightbulb” panel!

Volunteers shared their workplace experiences, offered insight into career possibilities, and encouraged students to start thinking about their own goals and opportunities in the workplace.

Thank you for sharing your time, experience, and encouragement with our students. We’re grateful for your support! 💙💚

What a night of laughter and connection!

After weather postponed our Saturday CONNECT event, we were excited to bring students and families back together for a special evening with Autism Improvised!

Through improv, laughter, and hands-on activities, participants explored body language, emotions, communication, and how the way we interact with others can make a difference in the workplace.

A big thank you to Autism Improvised for helping us turn a rainy-day reschedule into a night to remember!
