LEGISLATIVE WEEK OF ACTION | October 26–31, 2026

Election Day is approaching, and the Greater Metropolitan Atlanta Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Incorporated, is showing up for civic engagement!

Our Jack and Jill families are leading by example—casting their ballots, educating our communities, and demonstrating the importance of making our voices heard!

Throughout Legislative Week of Action, we encourage our families and community members to:

🗳️ BE INFORMED – Learn about the issues and candidates on the ballot.

💗 BE ENGAGED – Have meaningful conversations about the importance of civic participation.

💙 BE EMPOWERED – Encourage family, friends, and neighbors to make their voices count.

📣 BE THE EXAMPLE – Show our children and teens what active citizenship looks like!

The Greater Metropolitan Atlanta Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Incorporated showed up and showed out at Westlake High School's Cluster Night!

Our GMAC Moms and Teens joined forces with our incredible Legislative Co-Chairs, Mom Ashley Merritt and Mom Sojourner Marable Grimmett, to rally the community, encourage civic engagement, and remind everyone of the POWER of their vote!

Together, our Moms and Teens demonstrated what happens when generations unite for a common purpose: educating, empowering, and mobilizing our community to make their voices heard!

With the November 3 General Election approaching, we're committed to making sure our families, neighbors, and community members understand their voting power and the importance of participating in the democratic process.

Every voice matters. Every vote counts. And when GMAC shows up, we make an IMPACT! 💗💙.

💗💙 GMAC Moms On the Move!

The Greater Metropolitan Atlanta Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Incorporated, is proud to celebrate our very own Moms, Jennifer Legardy and Mom Desiree Rivers for their work with the next generation of scientists and researchers!

Our dynamic Moms worked with 115 high school students during the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) Special Program: "The Conquest of Cancer and the Next Generation of Cancer Researchers."

Through this incredible opportunity, students explored the world of cancer research, innovation, and the possibilities of careers dedicated to advancing science and saving lives.

We are proud of our Moms for helping inspire young minds, expand opportunities, and empower the next generation of leaders in STEM!
