MARR Addiction Treatment Centers

MARR Addiction Treatment Centers Established in 1975, MARR provides quality addiction treatment and family support.

MARR is accredited by The Joint Commission, a member of the National Association of Addiction Treatment Programs (NAATP), and fully licensed under the laws of the State of Georgia. MARR is recognized as one of the leading addiction treatment programs in the United States. A Board of Trustees oversees the organization to ensure the mission is achieved and that MARR remains a leader in the treatment

of chemical dependency and rehab centers nationwide. Each trustee demonstrates leadership, community involvement, philanthropy, professional and/or personal achievement, as well as an ongoing commitment to the values and mission of MARR. Today, MARR continues the tradition of setting the standard in long-term addiction treatment for chemically dependent men and women in a residential setting.

Some treatment centers discharge people and wish them luck.

We stay in touch.
We check in.
We celebrate the milestones.
We show up for the hard days too.

Because the relationship doesn't end when treatment does.

That's what 50 years of walking alongside people actually looks like.

Nine years later, and the foundation built at MARR still matters.

Recovery wasn’t a straight line, and it rarely is.

But the right support can stay with you long after treatment ends - and take you places you once couldn’t imagine.

Recovery isn't measured by how many days someone has been sober.

It's measured by the life they're able to build because of it.

The confidence to show up for their family.
The ability to rebuild trust.
The peace that comes from waking up with purpose instead of fear.

That's why lasting recovery has always been the goal.

Because real healing isn't just about stopping a behavior.

It's about helping someone reclaim every part of the life addiction tried to take.

Sometimes the hardest part of asking for help isn’t admitting you need it.

It’s wondering what happens to everything you’ve built.

Your career.
Your license.
Your reputation.
The people counting on you.

Those concerns are real, and they deserve to be part of the conversation.

MARR’s Professionals Program provides specialized support that considers both recovery and the realities of returning to your professional life.

Because getting help shouldn’t mean choosing between your well-being and your future.

What if the person who comes out of treatment isn't who you remembered, but someone even better?

Families often grieve the version of their loved one they lost to addiction.

That grief is real.

But recovery doesn't restore the old version.

It builds a new one.
A higher one.
One capable of things that weren't possible before.

That's what we're working toward together.

What if the thing you’ve been trying to “fix” is only one piece of what’s really going on?

Addiction doesn’t always exist on its own.

Mental health struggles can be tangled into the same story, each one affecting the other in ways that aren’t always obvious.

At MARR, recovery means getting curious about the whole picture - not just the part that’s easiest to see.

Because lasting change starts with understanding what’s actually underneath it all.

The moment someone starts believing in themselves again, they stop looking inward and start looking around.

Who needs help?
Who just walked in the door?
Who needs someone to show them they're going to be okay?

That's the transformation.

Recovery isn't just about the day someone decides to ask for help.

It's about everything that comes after.

The conversations that feel uncomfortable at first.

The routines that slowly become second nature.

The people who remind you you're not alone.

The small wins that don't make headlines but change a life all the same.

For decades, MARR has believed that healing happens in community.

Because recovery isn't something you achieve overnight.

It's something you practice, one day, one choice, and one relationship at a time.

Most people spend years waiting for the right moment.

The right circumstances.

The right version of themselves.

But acceptance doesn't wait.

It shows up in the middle of the mess and says, "This is where we start."

If you're ready, MARR is here to walk the road with you.

Surviving and recovering are not the same thing.

When you're ready for more than just getting through the day - when you want to actually rebuild - that's where MARR meets you.
