New sign at our Hawk Hollow Garden designed by Sarah. Thank you, Sarah!

10/08/2026

We had a dream team at Hawk Hollow to prepare a bed for a future monarch butterfly habitat. They removed wisteria and privet. The plan is to gather swamp milkweed seeds, plant them in pots to overwinter, and plant the seedlings in the spring. Looking forward to providing this essential host plant for the monarchs.

Come join the fun Wednesdays from 5-7, or just stop by Hawk Hollow, 2304 1st Avenue, Atlanta, to check out the progress.

Create a small space for a big memory.

Join us at Oakhurst Garden for a special Learn Wylde: Día de los Mu***os Mini Nichos workshop with local artist and therapist Maria Villarreal.

Families, chosen families, and small groups will learn about Día de los Mu***os and its traditions of remembrance, connection, and continuity, then create a miniature nicho—a small three-dimensional display inspired by someone, something, or a memory you want to honor. It might celebrate a loved one, ancestor, pet, favorite place, family tradition, or another meaningful part of your story.

No special art experience needed—just come ready to create together.

Friday, October 17 | 6–8 PM
