Join us June 20 for Music in the Garden with Lola LaDae, whose soulful blend of R&B, jazz, and neo-soul is the perfect soundtrack for a warm evening outdoors.

Bring a friend, settle into the garden, and enjoy live music in one of Wylde Center’s most beautiful spaces. As spring comes to a close and summer begins, we'll gather for a night of connection, community, and great music under the trees.

Our fifth session of camp, happening July 13-17, is Nature Camp!

There’s always something new to discover in the garden. During Nature Camp, campers will become outdoor explorers as they investigate plants, animals, soil, water, and the many connections that make ecosystems thrive.

Through hands-on experiments, wildlife observations, and nature-based activities, campers will sharpen their science skills while building a deeper appreciation for the natural world around them.

From tracking animal signs to uncovering the secrets of healthy soil, every day brings a new outdoor adventure!

On Thursday, June 11, from 6 to 8 pm, we’re heading to shady Hawk Hollow for an evening in the garden with our Wylde Center members.

Wylde Center members can take a guided garden tour (6:30), listen to live acoustic music from Nate Helfrich, and enjoy free popsicles to keep you cool.

Bring a blanket, pack a picnic, and/or BYOB of choice.

It’s a chance to spend some time at Hawk Hollow, get to know the garden a little better, and connect with fellow Wylde Center supporters.

The gardens are ready, the counselors are excited, and we can't wait to welcome campers for another summer of outdoor adventures, hands-on learning, creative play, and nature exploration.

From searching for garden critters and exploring local ecosystems to making new friends and discovering the wonders of the natural world, every week at Wylde Center Summer Camp is designed to spark curiosity and connection.

School's out for summer! And Wylde Center summer camp starts June 1!

We've been introducing you to each of the six weeks of camp, and Week 4 (June 22–26) is all about creativity, building, and hands-on fun: Nature Crafts & Constructions 🌿🔨

Campers ages 5–12 will design and build nature-inspired projects like birdhouses, window boxes, and other garden treasures while learning basic construction skills and creative problem-solving along the way.

Best of all? Their creations come home with them at the end of the week.

This is the perfect camp for kids who love to make, build, explore, and get their hands dirty in the best way possible.

Celebrate the arrival of summer with an intimate evening of live music in Wylde Center’s Oakhurst Garden on Saturday, June 20.

On June 20, Lola Ladae’ ’s smooth vocals and neo-soul rhythms will fill the warm evening air as the sun sets over Wylde Center’s lush greenspace.

Doors upen at 6:00 pm for mingling and garden exploration. Music begins at 7:00 pm.
