Happy news from Mutobo’s group, which has grown to 19 gorillas after female Ishyaka gave birth on August 14! 🥰 🎉

The newborn appears alert and active and is the second infant born into the group this year. 💛

Ishyaka is also the youngest grandmother we currently monitor. Her firstborn daughter, Akariza, is also raising an infant, who will turn two in November.
