The ESF Education Express—our mobile Teacher Resource Center—was honored to visit Boyd and Fickett Elementary Schools recently!

Alongside Atlanta Public Schools SuperintendentDr. Bryan Johnson, we were able to provide 140+ hardworking teachers with the essential classroom supplies they need to help their students thrive. 📚📓

New wheels alert! 🛒 A massive thank you to The Home Depot for donating 20 new Home Depot shopping carts to our Teacher Resource Center. Our shelves are stocked, and now our teachers can shop for their classrooms with ease. Time to get these carts to work! 🍎

As we kick off our 99th year of serving Metro Atlanta's children, we're taking a moment to thank our founding partners who started it all: The Atlanta Journal-Constitution and Cox Enterprises.

In 1927, The Atlanta-Journal Constitution launched a special initiative to help disadvantaged children across the city. That heartfelt effort has grown into what we know today as The Empty Stocking Fund.

For decades, the AJC and Cox have remained steadfast partners in our mission. They've shared our stories, included donation envelopes in Sunday editions during the holidays, and their incredible team members have volunteered thousands of hours helping us prepare gifts and supplies for children in need.

What started as a newspaper's Christmas appeal has evolved into a year-round operation serving tens of thousands of Metro Atlanta children annually with holiday gifts and essential school supplies.

As we approach our centennial year, we extend our deepest gratitude to the AJC and Cox. Thank you for believing in our mission from day one and for your unwavering support that continues to make our work possible.

A huge thank you to our friends at The Home Depot and The Home Depot Foundation for their incredible partnership. Through grants, in-kind donations, matching gifts, volunteer engagement, and logistical guidance, their support has been instrumental in helping us achieve our mission and serve more children, families, and teachers throughout 2025!

Thanks to their commitment, we were able to provide holiday gifts to over 27,000 children, distribute more than 25,000 school supply kits to students across metro Atlanta, and help nearly 3,000 teachers equip their classrooms for success.
