🎰🫵🏼♥️ HUGE THANK YOU to our Human Slot Machine Volunteers! We appreciate your dedication to GAAZK and Keeper professional development!
We thought it would be funny to post how our night went (braving the unexpected thunderstorms during our GAAZK Human Slot Machine Fundraiser) Of course, we also had so much fun!!!!

A special thank you to the lovely couple who donated to the organization while we were all huddled up for safety under a tent! We appreciate your support!

Happy 2026!
Our last baby pictures of the season have arrived! Say Hi to Baby Caroline & Baby Nas!

Caroline chose to work in an AZA field because she grew up surrounded by animals and always knew she wanted to spend her life taking care of them!

Nas chose to work in an AZA field because it pays the bills. (JK )she enjoys educating the public and inspiring the youth to join the fight for conservation!

Thanks to everyone who participated in our baby keeper appreciation! We appreciate all that keepers do! ♥️

Happy National Zoo Keeper Week! 🐾
We got two bright eyed babies that have been passionate about animal care and conservation since they were itty bitty.

First up: Alexz, pictured with the lovely couple Jen & Try-Me💕

Second up: Emily, pictured in a large kangaroo that is ominously looking down at the children.
Emily has wanted to work in a zoo since she was 3years old! Now as a Primates Keeper she gets to wake up everyday and live out her childhood dream.

Thank you Alexz and Emily for all you do 🫂🐾 !!! Happy

Big News!!!! 🗞️ Next Tuesday, July 28th, 2026, we will be having a Game Night at The Lost Druid Brewery and Distillery from 6-8PM! The Waxwing Wheat peach ale that was created in collaboration with Georgia AAZK and Wild Nest Bird Rehab is nearing its end, and we want to celebrate this fundraiser one more time before it runs out. As before, a portion of the sale of Waxwing Wheat goes to Wild Nest Bird Rehab. This may be your last chance to try the brew!

In honor of we asked our animal care staff to send us baby pictures of them with their favorite animals or at a zoo!
Say hi to baby Roxanne & baby Chandler! 🥹🐾

We also asked Chandler our Primates Research Intern why they chose to work in an AZA field: "I chose to work in an AZA field because I love conservation, science communications, and cute animals, and this role has all 3!"

Were they destined to become animal caretakers since the start? Do you think they've changed much? Do they oddly look related? Is Roxanne handling the snake correctly? We will never know.
