8 month old, 45 lb Delilah is the total package: a sweet, loving girl who is ready to become someone’s best friend. While she can be a little shy when meeting new people, it doesn’t take much for her to come out of her shell. Give her a little patience, a quiet environment, and plenty of love, and you’ll quickly see what a wonderful dog she is.

Her foster says Delilah absolutely adores children, more than any dog they’ve ever met! She would thrive in a family environment and is the kind of dog that fits perfectly into the picture of a loving home filled with laughter, playtime, and companionship.

Delilah would love a fenced yard where she can safely explore and keep an eye on the squirrels that catch her attention. She’s still working on some of her basic training, including potty training, so her forever family should be committed to continuing her progress and helping her build confidence.

She gets along well with other dogs but doesn’t require a canine companion in her new home. Whether she’s your one-and-only or joining an existing pack, Delilah’s biggest requirement is simple: she wants to be loved.

If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate companion who will happily become part of the family, Delilah may be the perfect match for you.

Lucile is a beautiful 5-month-old Great Pyrenees puppy weighing about 35 pounds. She is a sweet, playful girl who loves spending time outdoors, running around the yard, and showing off her adorable zoomies. She also loves toys and enjoys playing with her canine friends.

Lucile is crate trained, housebroken, sleeps through the night, and is highly food and treat motivated, which makes training fun and rewarding. She is currently working on her leash-walking skills and continues to make great progress.

While Lucile can be a little shy when meeting new people, she warms up with patience and kindness. Once she feels comfortable, her fun-loving and affectionate personality shines through.

Lucile gets along wonderfully with other dogs and would do best in a home with another playful canine companion to help her continue building confidence - this is REQUIRED. A securely fenced yard is also REQUIRED, as she loves having space to run, play, and explore safely.

If you’re looking for a gentle, happy puppy who enjoys both playtime and companionship, Lucile may be the perfect addition to your family!

Pixel would be a great fit for a retired person or couple! She is awesome!

Pixel is a 5 year old, 12 lb Miniature Schnauzer who came to us after retiring from breeding. She previously lived outside, and she is loving being an inside dog! She enjoys being around other dogs and cats and will sometimes play with other dogs. She loves to go on walks and enjoys car rides. She loves to be with her person.

Pixel is on a low-fat food and will need to continue to be on a lower-fat food due to a previous bout of pancreatitis. She is crate-trained and has been house-trained in her foster home. She is a great dog!

Please apply on www.orphanannierescue.org to adopt her.

Esmé is an ~8 month old, 41 lb doodle mix. Esmé has a vibrancy for life and loves to explore. As a typical young dog, she needs frequent mental stimulation and exercise to keep her entertained. She's a very smart girl and a quick learner, and loves treats. She loves other dogs and would do well with another young dog to play with. She is curious about cats but has not bothered them or shown any aggression towards them. Esmé is a sweet dog, who loves attention and being with her people.

Esmé is crate trained, has been doing well with house training, and is working on leash training. Esmé would love a family to spend her forever with!

Welcome, Bootsy!
This little guy was rescue only at Hall County Animal Services due to being fearful. Because of this, he didn’t receive any vetting other than a DHPP vaccine. Next steps are his other vaccinations, a 4DX test to test for heartworm disease and tickborne illnesses, his neuter, possibly a dental depending upon what the vet thinks, and his microchip.

If you feel compelled, we would love your help with donations towards his vetting.

Thank you!

Meet Zebby, the sweetest sidekick you didn’t know you needed!

Zebby is a 6 year old mixed breed gentleman weighing in at about 16 pounds, and he’s
on the lookout for his forever family. He’s friendly, calm, and wonderfully easygoing; the
kind of pup who just wants to be near his people.

His favorite things in the world are curling up in your lap, getting gentle ear scratches,
and falling asleep in your arms if you let him. If you’re relaxing, he’s relaxing. If you’re
heading out, he’s happy to trot along. He truly just loves being part of whatever you’re
doing.

Zebby walks beautifully on a leash, gets along great with other animals, and is fantastic
with kids 6+. He even participates in their pretend games without complaint. He’s both
crate-trained and housetrained, though he much prefers being trusted to roam the house
at his own relaxed pace while you’re away. He knows his name and responds to several
basic commands like “sit,” “no,” and “outside.” And when treats are involved, he’ll
proudly offer his paw for a shake.

Zebby’s ideal home is a relaxed, calm environment. When things get too loud or
overwhelming, he’ll quietly excuse himself and find a more peaceful spot. He is
generally very easygoing, but he can be a bit protective of his treats. He will also
vocalize when something makes him uncomfortable, such as being crated or being
petted too roughly.

If you’re looking for a loving, lowkey companion who fits seamlessly into family life, Zebby might be your perfect match. To adopt him, please apply on www.orphannannierescue.org

Clio update:

We wish we had improvement to share, but unfortunately there really hasn’t been any change. She still has to complete her round of antibiotics, but so far we haven’t seen any improvement in her head tilt.

Despite everything, Clio remains the happiest girl. She has adjusted so well and doesn’t let her head tilt slow her down. She loves sleeping in bed with her foster parents and receiving all the love and attention she can get.

We’re continuing to take things day by day and are hopeful that we’ll eventually get answers and see progress for this sweet girl. In the meantime, she’s reminding us all how resilient dogs can be.

*You MUST live in Metro Atlanta to adopt Doris*

Doris Day is a 5 year old, 15 lb Miniature Schnauzer. Doris has so much personality and is so much fun. She has so much to tell you and loves to "talk" to you all about her day. Doris would love to be the center of attention and be loved on all day. She gets so excited to see you and will wag her little tail to show her excitement.
She is crate trained and food motivated. Doris is not comfortable on a leash and therefore REQUIRES a fenced in yard. Doris is dog and cat friendly. Doris is working on house training and will need patience as she continues to learn.

Doris did test positive for heartworms. The treatment is included in her adoption fee and is covered at one of our veterinary partners, which is why she needs to stay locally.

To adopt her, please apply on www.orphanannierescue.org
