Celebrating 25 Years of Service – Happy Retirement, Gary Zellars!
This year, Campbell-Stone recognizes Gary Zellars for 25 years of service.
Gary joined Campbell-Stone Buckhead after his sister, who also worked here, encouraged him to apply. Before joining Campbell-Stone, he proudly served three years in the U.S. Army Infantry during peacetime.
When asked what has made Campbell-Stone special over the years, Gary shared:
“It’s like a family, and we go above and beyond for the residents.”
Reflecting on what he has learned through working with older adults, he said:
“Don’t take everything so seriously. Life is too short. Live every day to the fullest, don’t dwell on the past, and be thankful for life.”
As he begins retirement, Gary looks forward to spending more time with his six children, grandchildren, family, and friends, as well as enjoying the outdoors, fishing, cooking, and traveling.
His message to all of us:
“Love one another.”
