The ASA Chapter Guide Right Program kicked off our college tour at Hampton University with a campus tour, conversations with the Aviation Department, and a visit to the Hampton University Museum (est. 1868). They also had lunch with the Beta Chi brothers on campus and their advisor, heard from the ROTC department, and attended the Hampton vs. Drexel women’s basketball game. The highlight came when one of our senior KLs followed up with Admissions during the visit. He was told he’d have a decision by 5 PM and later that afternoon received his official acceptance to Hampton University! The day wrapped up with a trip at Norfolk State University where they also toured the campus and met with the Admissions team. A huge thank you to our chaperones Chris Chatman, Chad Banks, Efrem Armstrong, and Frederick Johnson for making it a great experience for our young men. Also, special shout out to Brother Gerald Smith for helping to coordinate activities at Hampton University!
