Let's celebrate Calian on this !

Calian has made so much progress! He has now mastered spelling and writing both his first and last name. He can count to 100 and is beginning to recognize and identify bigger numbers. He is also practicing writing numbers and continues to build his early academic skills.

Calian recognizes all of his letters and their corresponding sounds. His vocabulary and communication continue to grow, and he is speaking more and more each day.

We are also so proud that Calian has graduated from Physical Therapy (PT)! Watching him reach these milestones has been such a blessing. He continues to learn, grow, and surprise us every day.

Why is this milestone so special?
This milestone means more to me than words can truly express. Calian was born three months early, and there were so many uncertainties in the beginning. He was later diagnosed with autism, and there was a time when he could barely talk. To see him now spelling and writing his first and last name, counting to 100, recognizing letters and their sounds, speaking more every day, and graduating from PT is more than a blessing—it is a testimony of how far he has come.

Every new word, every number he writes, and every skill he masters reminds me that progress may look different for every child, but every step forward is worth celebrating. I am beyond proud of him and grateful to God for allowing me to witness his growth.

Calian continues to amaze me every single day. What once felt so far away is now becoming our reality, and I couldn't be more thankful for the little boy he is becoming. He is truly my miracle, and I will forever celebrate every milestone, big or small.

We are all so excited for you! Congratulations!!

💙💛 October is Down Syndrome Awareness Month! 💙💛

We are so thankful for our amazing FOCUS Ambassadors, the Raschke family, who represented FOCUS at the DSAA Buddy Walk! The weather forecast changed the venue location to an indoor event. Still, it was a wonderful time meeting new families, celebrating inclusion, and joining in all the Buddy Walk activities.
