🐾 Madi Peeps Update! Still Looking for Her Forever Home! 🐾

Madi is growing up so fast! This once very shy little girl has truly started coming out of her shell, and it has been incredible to watch. Thanks to her amazing foster family, she is learning so much every day and becoming more confident with the world around her.

Madi is everything you could want in a puppy, sweet, gentle, smart, and great with other dogs. She is ready to bring so much love and joy to a family of her own.

We would love for Madi to find her forever home soon so her family can enjoy all of these special puppy moments while she’s still young.

When you adopt through the Ozzie Albies Foundation, we provide:
āœ”ļø Fully vetted dogs
āœ”ļø Spay/neuter covered when age appropriate
āœ”ļø Training sessions included
āœ”ļø Ongoing support for the lifetime of your dog

Adoptions have slowed significantly, and we have many deserving dogs waiting for their chance. If you can’t adopt, please consider sharing Madi’s story. Every share helps us reach the right family.

If you’ve followed us for a while, then you probably already know this face… but Henry’s adoption announcement deserved a permanent spot on our page. šŸ–¤

Formerly known as Vinny, Henry joined our Best Chance Program after we pulled him from Cobb County Animal Services. From day one, he completely stole the hearts of our volunteers, and .kate truly moved mountains to help save him.

Henry was the happiest boy ever… but he loved dogs SO much that he didn’t always know how to regulate his excitement. While we knew he meant well, we also knew he needed guidance, structure, and training to help him succeed socially with other dogs.

Then Teddy’s family saw him.

As many of you know, Teddy was already adopted through our Best Chance Program, so this felt like a dream come true for us. But because Teddy and Henry have very different personalities, we knew we had to take things slow and be honest about where Henry was at in his journey.

And they understood.

They waited while Henry decompressed.
They waited while his amazing foster put in endless work with him at home.
They waited while he attended training sessions, pack walks, and worked with to learn boundaries and proper social skills.

Slowly, we watched him grow.

When Teddy and Henry finally met, it honestly started off pretty boring. šŸ˜‚ They didn’t care much about each other at first. But Henry had already stolen his future family’s hearts long before that moment.

Today, these two are thriving together, and we could not be more thankful for everyone who helped Henry get his best chance.

This is exactly why our program exists. Dogs don’t need perfection. They need patience, structure, guidance, and people willing to believe in them.

Sally is officially adopted and thriving in her forever home ā¤ļø

This sweet girl has been through so much. From being found as a stray, having her puppies in the woods, and then going through full heartworm treatment… Sally’s journey was not an easy one.

Thankfully, she found incredible fosters who stood by her every step of the way. They gave her the patience, structure, and support she needed while she healed and slowly learned how to feel safe again. As her treatment took place, they helped her build confidence and begin trusting the world around her.

One of the most important things for us was making sure Sally found a home that truly understood her. A family willing to give her time, follow the guidance from our trainers, and continue providing the structure she needs to live a fulfilling and balanced life.

We’ve been receiving updates, and hearing that Sally is doing great and slowly coming out of her shell means everything to us. Watching dogs like Sally finally get the life they deserve is exactly why we do this.

Thank you to everyone who played a part in her journey. Your patience, love, and commitment changed her life forever. ā¤ļø

Meet our newest rescue, Puckett šŸˆā€ā¬›

For quite some time, Puckett had been quietly roaming near the Puckett EMS station. The team there had been feeding her, looking out for her, and making sure she was okay while she stayed close by. She didn’t belong to anyone, but somehow she became everybody’s little friend.

was the one who reached out after noticing her regularly around the area, and drove out to pick her up. Thankfully, it was an easy rescue. No traps, no chasing… almost like Puckett knew someone was finally there to help her.

She’s a little shy at first, but you can tell she wants to trust. She leans into affection, watches you closely, and has such a gentle, sweet soul. The kind of cat that makes you wonder how long she’s been surviving out there on her own.

We already got her vetted with , and found out she’s just 4 months old. Now our biggest goal is making sure her story has the happy ending she deserves.

Ideally, we would love to connect with a cat rescue willing to work with us, or help Puckett find a forever family of her own.

If you know any cat rescues you trust and love, please tag them below.

We recently received a generous donation of dog food from one of our partners, and we would love to share it with rescues, fosters, and community groups who are truly in need.

As much as we appreciate having food available for the dogs in our program, we do not want to store more than we currently need when there are other dogs and rescue groups out there who may urgently need support right now.

If you know a rescue, independent foster, or community group in need of dog food, please tag them below or send us a message.

Please only reach out if your rescue, foster program, or community group is currently in urgent need of food. If you already have food in stock, we kindly ask that you allow this donation to go to those who need it most.

Pick-up will be in the Marietta area.

Please share this post so we can get this food to the right people and dogs.

Imagine this. It’s a sunny afternoon. The grill is going, your favorite music is playing in the background, and your new best friend is laying right beside you looking at you like this. šŸ¤Ž

Jeter is patiently waiting for his person. This sweet boy has been through so much, from being given up on, to ending up on the urgent list and nearly losing his life. He deserves a break. More than anything, he deserves a family that won’t give up on him again.

He’s such a good boy, and we truly want to find him the perfect fit. Through our Best Chance Program, we offer full support and provide adoption supplies including a crate, food, beds, and flea/tick preventative medication to help set both Jeter and his future family up for success.

Please help us find this amazing boy the loving home he deserves. Visit www.ozziealbiesfoundation.org and click on the adoptable dogs tab to learn more about Jeter. Please share. 🐾

Transport day for the Peeps girls 🐣

This is exactly what we mean when we say it takes a village. went above and beyond for these girls, from rescuing them to getting them healthy and safe. The transformation already speaks for itself.

Our rescue coordinator .kate pulled all the pieces together once again, coordinating fosters and transport seamlessly. Huge thank you to Lisa for getting the girls safely to Kate, and to Kate for making the drive to Macon and getting them where they needed to be.

And to our fosters Matt, Heather, and Ali, thank you for stepping up, opening your homes, and committing to the structure and training that makes this program work.

Their journey is just getting started, and we’re excited to see them grow.
