Our chapter, founded by the late Davey Gibson in 1957, has been a cornerstone of the ASU Atlanta connection. Under the leadership of President Anitra S. Jackson, C/O '98, A.M.A.C. continues to be the 'Premier' chapter within the ASUNAA. Her vision is "Reclaiming, Recruiting, and Representing Atlanta Metro Rams." President Jackson, a Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated member, is steering us towards this vision with her "Seventy by Seventy" initiative, which aims to recruit and reclaim seventy members by the chapter's Platinum Anniversary in 2027. Regarding Membership and Alumni recruitment for A. C., Dr. William Hopkins, C/O '68, leads the way. Dr. Hopkins is an AMAC-ASU-NAA Life Member and a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. He believes in connecting the generations of ASU alumni via social platforms, personal interactions, community involvement, and giving back. He has a shared passion for Albany State University's existence, growth, achievement, and legacy.
