Join John J. Mercuri at on September 11-12, 2026 in Montreal, Canada!

Dr. Mercuri will be speaking on KCaliper-Verified Kinematic Alignment.

"PAS 2026 will bring together surgeons who are interested in making knee arthroplasty more thoughtful, reproducible, and patient-specific. My lecture on caliper-verified kinematic alignment will review the core principles of KA and how they translate into a practical surgical workflow. I will focus on restoring the patient’s pre-arthritic knee, including the native joint lines, kinematic axes, and soft-tissue envelope. The goal is to give surgeons a clear and usable framework for understanding and applying caliper-verified KA in their own practice."

Join Mario Lamontagne at on September 11-12, 2026 in Montreal, Canada!

Dr. Reina will be speaking on Knee biomechanical function after TKA medial pivot bearing during activities of daily living.

"Drawing on over a decade of research, I will present evidence demonstrating how implant design affects dynamic knee function, quadriceps strength, stair climbing performance, and the restoration of more physiological knee kinematics. Attendees will gain a better understanding of how implant design contributes to patient confidence, stability, and efficiency during activities of daily living, and why these functional outcomes should play an increasingly important role in evaluating success after total knee arthroplasty."

Join Nicolas Reina at on September 11-12, 2026 in Montreal, Canada!

Dr. Reina will be speaking on Dual Mobility for All.

"Dual mobility has transformed the way we think about stability in total hip arthroplasty, with expanding indications across both primary and revision surgery. This session will explore when dual mobility truly adds value, the evidence supporting its broader use, and the remaining controversies. We will also discuss key design considerations, including the role of modular versus monoblock constructs and how implant selection should be tailored to each clinical situation. Join us at PAS 2026 for a practical, evidence-based discussion that will help you refine your decision-making in everyday practice."

Join Takao Yamamoto at on September 11-12, 2026 in Montreal, Canada!

Dr. Yamamoto will be speaking on Japanese Anatomical Specificities - Their Implications for Personalized TKA.

"PAS 2026 will be a valuable opportunity to learn how anatomical differences among populations influence personalized knee arthroplasty. In my presentation, I will discuss the anatomical characteristics commonly observed in Japanese patients and how these features may affect alignment strategy, implant positioning, soft-tissue balance, and surgical decision-making. I believe this international comparison will help surgeons better understand the importance of patient-specific approaches in total knee arthroplasty. I am honored to join this session and look forward to sharing perspectives from Japan. Thank you again for this opportunity."

Join Charles Rivière at on September 11-12, 2026 in Montreal, Canada!

Dr. Rivière will be speaking on Kinematic Alignment Technique for Total Hip Replacement.

"PAS 2026 is a unique opportunity to engage with surgeons, researchers, and innovators who are actively redefining modern arthroplasty. My talk will focus on kinematic alignment technique for total hip replacement, where native hip anatomy and the spine-hip relationship are considered together to refine THR planning and optimize outcomes. This approach aims to move beyond generic component positioning toward a more individualized reconstruction strategy. PAS is the ideal forum to challenge conventional thinking, exchange practical experience, and shape the future of personalized hip and knee replacement."

Dr. Palumbo will be speaking at the Cross Fire Session: How to Best Replicate Knee Kinematic- Dual Pivot Bearing.

"Knee arthroplasty is undergoing a significant evolution that cannot be ignored. Personalized alignment strategies in total knee arthroplasty (TKA) are redefining patient outcomes and expectations for implant performance. I am excited to attend and present at a meeting dedicated to advancing our understanding of personalized alignment principles and their clinical application, helping surgeons deliver more individualized care and improved patient outcomes."

Join James Pritchett at on September 11-12, 2026 in Montreal, Canada!

Dr. Pritchett will be speaking on Polyethylene Hip Resurfacing and Bicruciate Total Knee Replacement.

"Hip Resurfacing is an essential procedure for patients with a deformed femur or when retained femoral implants block the ability to receive a total hip replacement. Hip Resurfacing using polyethylene for the acetabular component is a safe and effective procedure without the concerns of metal or ceramic implants. Hip resurfacing is preferred procedure for very young patients and for patients with a less than successful hip replacement on their other side.

Bicruciate total knee replacement is the best way to duplicated the kinematics and tibial load bearing of the natural knee."

Join Pier Francesco Indelli at on September 11-12, 2026 in Montreal, Canada!

Dr. Indelli will be speaking on "Asymmetric native gaps are a key"

"Asymmetrical gaps in Total Knee Arthroplasty occur when the medial and lateral joint spaces are unequal in extension or flexion. While traditional TKA aims for a perfectly rectangular (symmetric) gap, modern kinematic and alignment philosophies favor a looser lateral compartment to better mimic natural knee biomechanics. Recent studies indicate that a slightly looser lateral gap provides greater ROM and improved functional scores. My presentation will review the extensive basic science behind this concept."
