It’s Training Report Day! 💜
Each month, our pups in training check in from the .official Canine University! This month, we have updates on SIX fantastic superheroes 🎉
Merrill 4T24 is in phase 1 of Guide Dog training. Her trainer she’s she loves playing out in the yards with her dorm mates. She is progressing on
schedule with her guide dog training. During the next month she will be learning new guide dog skills and cues.
Duke 2V24 is in phase 1 of Guide Dig training, and his trainer says he is so smart and silly! His goofy personality comes out during downtime, but once the harness is on, he is a hard
worker. He is learning how to lead out in harness, stop at curbs, and ignore distractions.
Rex 1W24 officially joined the Service Dog Program this month! His trainers report that between vet
appointments, canine fitness sessions, making new friends with his classmates, and getting to know his new instructors,
he’s had a full schedule from day one.
Rex is such a sweet boy, and we’re so excited to watch him grow and progress through the program.
Finn 4V24 is in phase 1 of Guide Dog training, and his trainers say he is such a cutie! He is learning how to lead out in harness, stop at curbs, and ignore distractions. He has adjusted well to kennel life and enjoys playing with his kennelmate!
Ralph 4W24 has joined our Service Dog Program! We are working on all the freshman things like acclimating to life in
the dorms, making friends in the play yards and as roommates. Also, exposure to our training vans, campus golf carts,
and bathing tubs. We’ve also takin them out for walks around our lagoons whether that be with a trainer or a fitness
coach.
We are indescribable, proud of these future superheroes, and every human who had a hand along the way! We can’t wait to see what next month’s updates hold! 🎉 🐾 💜
