Our 2026 RCP Annual Watershed Camp was a reel hit!🎣 We'd like to thank our campers for being wonderful attendees, and our amazing volunteers and professional demonstrators for making this year's camp a fin-tastic success🐟! We’d also like to thank the ODNR Division of Wildlife for our funding through the Aquatic Stewardship Grant! And one last thank you to Raccoon Creek Outfitters for hosting us again!🦝🐢🦆🌞

Nature Spotlight: Raccoon Creek State Scenic River

Our Apple Grafting Workshop this past weekend was a tree-mendous success!🍎 A huge thank you to all that participated, and a special shoutout to the one and only, Derek Mills with Hocking Hills Orchard for sharing his knowledge and expertise!🌳

Hello all! This is a reminder that our Apple Grafting workshop is this Sunday, April 19th! Derek Mills from Hocking Hills Orchard will be giving a hands-on lesson in how to graft your very own apple tree!

We ask for a $10 suggested donation will cover one scion, one rootstock, and grafting supplies. Please bring your own utility knife with a new blade if you have one. Pre-registration is not required. A total of 50 rootstocks are available. Additional rootstocks and scions available for a donation while supplies last.
The workshop will be held on April 19th from 1-3 pm at The Ridges, Building 22, RM 221, Athens, OH.

Now that spring is finally upon us, it's time to get out into the garden! If you're interested in learning how to start your very own orchard, or looking to improve one you already have, join us for a hands-on lesson in apple tree grafting with local expert Derek Mills from Hocking Hills Orchard!
