Looking for practical strategies to better support the youth and families you serve this summer?

The Appalachian Children Coalition (ACC) is offering a FREE virtual PAX Tools for Human Services training for professionals working with youth across Ohio’s 32 Appalachian counties. Participants will learn simple, effective strategies that improve cooperation, strengthen relationships, and support self-regulation in young people.

On Monday, May 18, 2026, we had an incredible evening celebrating leadership, partnership and impact across Appalachian Ohio.

The Appalachian Children Coalition was honored to recognize Ohio First Lady Fran DeWine with the Impact Award, John Carey, Director, Governor's Office of Appalachia with the Advocate Award and AmeriHealth Caritas Foundation with the Partner Award at our 2026 Impact and Recognition Celebration for their commitment to improving the lives of children and families throughout the region.

Together, we are building stronger systems of support and brighter futures for children across Appalachian Ohio.
